According to the new agreement Db Maint 1.5 will be included in all installations of StreamServes new product RePRINT. It is premature to disclose the value of the order, but the customer base amounts to approx. 25.000, where RePRINT is used for storing and restoring of company critical documents.

The agreement is an OEM-agreement (original equipment manufacturer) in which Db Maint will be specifically adjusted to RePRINT. All systems maintenance, e.g. maintenance of data bases, will be handled by Db Maint. Db Maint will by StreamServe be sold under the name ReMAINT, since new functionality is added to the program.

Db Maint 1.5 is a newly developed administration program for maintenance of Microsoft’s data base administrator SQL Server 6.5. The product contains several functions which all significantly facilitates data base administration, e.g. more secure and simple backup, continuous reports on the conditions of the data bases, advanced logging and presentation, and analyses and documentation of the installation and the data bases. Db Maint is distributed by LAN Assistans & Konsulting AB.

StreamServe has 70 employees in six different countries, with its head office in Stockholm, Sweden. The company supplies software for advanced output management via a number of communication channels. StreamServe was recently ranked as the best output management solution for SAP R/3 by Gartner Group.
