MAXdbt Distributes Db Maint in North America
Maint Software Corp Ltd has recently signed a distribution agreement with MAXdbt, a Michigan based provider of database monitoring, administration, and development software tools. MAXdbt will exclusively distribute and install Maint Software Corp’s flagship product Db Maint in the North American region. Db Maint maintains and preserves Microsoft SQL Server installations and its data.
Db Maint is an administration program for maintenance of Microsoft’s database management system SQL Server. The software contains several functions which significantly facilitate administration and improve performance of MS SQL Server 6.5, 7.0 and 2000, e.g. safer and easier backup, continuous reports on the conditions of the databases, advanced logging and presentation, monitoring of performance counters, and analyses and documentation of the SQL Server installation, including databases etc.
Db Maint is primarily used by third-party developers and in small to medium-sized installations without access to in-house SQL Server expertise. Db Maint has received excellent reviews and is described as ”easy-to-use, effective and inexpensive” by the prestigious SQL Server Magazine.
