View Fragmentation Information

To open this dialog, right click a database in the “Databases” folder, select “Operations”, “Show fragmentation…”. This dialog is only available on SQL Server 2000.

Select database

Select the database to display fragmentation information for.

Select table

Select the table to display fragmentation information for, or select <all> for all tables.

Working with the dialog

Select Fast or Normal mode (when “Fast mode” is selected, the DBCC SHOWCONTIG command is executed with the “FAST” option). You can sort the data by clicking in the column header.
