Server Configuration Report
This dialog provides a comprehensive report of the server configuration. We
recommend that you export this information to a file so it is available for
recovery and trouble shooting purposes. It is advisable to create a report after
each time SQL Server or a database is reconfigured. You can also specify that a
task will create a file for each execution with this information.
General Configuration tab
This is general server configuration information: hardware, operating system,
SQL Server options chosen at install time and SQL Server options that are
configurable.
Server Parameters tab
These are the server parameters. They are set with the sp_configure procedure
or through SQL Enterprise Manager.
Database configuration Tab
General database configuration information. Choose the desired database from
the Database drop-down box.
Export options frame
The information can be exported to a text file. Choose what information to
include in the report.
