Client Installation

Please check system requirements before installation. Before running Db Maint, make sure that the Db Maint server installation is completed on those servers that you wish to manage.

Before you begin

Before you start the Db Maint installation, make sure that you have the SQL Server Client installed. Check that you can run SQL Enterprise Manager on the client, which verifies the presence of SQL-DMO.

You can also specify in the Db Maint setup program to install SQL-DMO (make sure you select appropriate version of SQL-DMO).

Installation

Run setup.exe from the subdirectory \X86\SQL65 on the installation CD.
